I am getting really bored of the music in my library – I have about 4,000 songs on my iPod and am still bored. These are the kind of bands I like to listen to – I am in the UK and I find that I tend to like American rock/blues/country bands and musicians more because you have so much more choice over there: AC/DC Nickelback Matchbox 20 3 Doors Down Joe Bonamassa Davey Knowles Robbie Ducey Band The Black Crowes Brad Paisley Breaking Benjamin BulletProof Messenger Dire Straits The Who Foo Fighters Goo Goo Dolls The Hoax Incubus Jimmy Eat World John Mayer Jonny Lang Journey Ken Will Morton The Killers Kings of Leon The Rolling Stones Snow Patrol Stone Temple Pilots Tim McGraw Van Morrison Hopefully this gives you some idea of the kind of music I like – I like everything from heavy rock to blues and country – I HATE pop music, rap, RnB, electronica, dance and metal where it’s just people screaming (like Slipknot, Korn, Marilyn Manson etc). I do like punk sometimes though – stuff like Green Day I really like. It might be a bit vague but I’m so bored I’ll consider anything right now – I find that it’s hard to get excited about new music these days as there’s so much rubbish out there – don’t you agree? Thanks. I was so pleased to find this — UK Split by The Groundhogs = classic blues rock Aqualung by Jethro Tull = classic folk infused rock Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned = superb punk album Love (or Sonic Temple) by The Cult = Classic US style hard rock Power Of The Blues by Gary Moore = electric blues rock – reall foot-tapping stuff The Sound Of The Smiths by The Smiths = basically this, or any other “best of” by this great 80s band Greatest Hits by Thin Lizzy = Classic rock/blues rock Greatest Hits by Motorhead = rock and roll at it’s loudest. USA Young, Loud & Snotty by The Dead Boys = early US punk Spinnerette by Spinnerette = American female-fronted punk with pop undertones done well No Virginia by The Dresden Dolls = punk cabaret Greatest Hits by Lynyrd Skynyrd = southern rock Operation Ivy by Operation Ivy = ska / punk with real energy to it Robot Hive / Exodus by Clutch = super catchy/groovy heavy rock October Rust by Type O Negative = goth rock with groovy guitars American IV by Johnny Cash = Outlaw country performed by a legend Rest Of World Above All by Mustasch = hard rock with really catchy melodies Dozer = Swedish groove / stoner rock band Kick by Inxs = 80s indie pop Ghost Reveries by Opeth = Prog metal. May be harder than youre used to, but worth a listen. Start on “hours of wealth”. They are a long- running Swedish band. Supporting Caste by Propagandhi = Canadian punks who have evolved into a great band. Original.

try any alternative music, like AFI pre-Crash Love, Coheed and Cambria, The Black Maria, Chevelle, Emery, Smile Empty Soul, Kill Hannah, Mudvayne.
also since you like rock and blues, try Eric Clapton, it’s a little old, but really good in my opinion. also the band hellyeah is a little heavy, but has a rough neck tone to any of their music, like the song hell of a time. also, just because a band is mainly really hard, don’t be afraid to look for their lighter music, like bloodsimple.
