Acoustic Blues Guitarists

Despite the fact that so several people seem to be always talking about current blues artists like Robert Cray & Johnny Lang/Kenny Wayne Shepard. . I have yet to hear anyone comment on CONRAD OBERG or LITTLE TOBY WALKER ??. . I don’t know if people just don’t know whoever they’re or whether they’re just not as popular as other Blues artists today ??? I have seen Little Toby Walker ( whoever has won many blues awards ) in person and I think he’s one of the best acoustic blues guitarists alive today—–Conrad Oberg is a blind 13 yr old musical genius/prodigy whoever has played in concerts before audiences since he was 3 & has played electric guitar, accoustic guitar & electric piano with people like Buddy Guy, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Dr. John, John Hammond, Hound Dog Taylor, Etc. And held his own with those guys. — Does anyone else know about Toby or Conrad and, if so, do you think they’re as amazingly talented as I do ?? Michael R is right . . I incorrectly denoted Hound Dog Taylor when I should have denoted Honeyboy Edwards- Michael apparently knows a lot about people whoever often play with other people. Well, I have your answer. Never heard of either of them until now. I’ve checked them both out momentarily and saw enough to make me take the time to listen more at a later time. Thanks for the info. Here are a couple more that you might like and a lot of people don’t know. Chris Duarte: Shannon Curfman:

I’m not familiar with Little Toby Walker, but I have heard Conrad Oberg. I saw him on a youtube video playing guitar with John Hammond. He is amazing!

Thanks for the info. I’ll check them out. This is what I like about the Yahoo blues section — a chance to learn about some great artists.
